The event brought altogether <\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/gallery.mailchimp.com\/b215d080224bca32a183cee94\/files\/Project_Proposals_Ideation_Day_27012017.01.pdf\"><b>22 project<\/b><\/a><b> ideas competing for Nordic Climate-KIC funding for their innovative ideas.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For Smart Kalasatama and its partner network the day was a success, leading into grant of 15.000\u20ac for the Nordic Network of Sustainable City Labs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The grant is used for preparing demonstrator proposal. The new project seeks to laying \u00a0<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">foundations for public-private partnership on a cross-Nordic level for cutting-edge climate and urban innovations. <\/span><b>The objective <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">is to identify and apply new and viable business models for sustainable city innovation labs, and to accelerate cross-Nordic co-creation and transfer of the best solutions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Altogether <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/gallery.mailchimp.com\/b215d080224bca32a183cee94\/files\/14e21035-97ac-465a-b677-026cc43e4db2\/Participant_List.06.pdf\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">17 projects were awarded<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> with the money, ranging from 5.000\u20ac\u201315.000\u20ac.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Assessment of project ideas was based on the following:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cross community collaboration in project team<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Feasibility of implementation<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Potential climate impact<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Demand identification<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Quality and relevance of idea<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Nordic Network of Sustainable City Labs proposal includes five partners from Helsinki, Gothenburg, Trondheim, Copenhagen and Albertslund.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On the 27 January 2017, Smart Kalasatama participated the pitching session of the Nordic Ideation Day.
